On June 30, 2010, Master Brandon Richards of Seattle Tae Kwon Do in Mountlake Terrace, graduated from the Mountlake Terrace Police Department Citizen’s Academy. This is a 12-week program that covers all aspects of how our local police department works. Over the course of this class Master Richards learned what some of the areas of concern for our community and how working with the Police how Seattle Tae Kwon Do can better safeguard our students. Our city has one of the best Police Departments in Washington State and we are very lucky to live in this community. Master Richards plans to incorporate some of the valuable information he gained from this course in some of the ongoing child safety and awareness courses taught at Seattle Tae Kwon Do in Mountlake Terrace.
