Master Brandon Richards Graduates FBI Citizen's Academy

On June 5, 2010, Brandon Richards, lead Master Instructor at Seattle Tae Kwon Do graduated from the FBI Citizen’s Academy. This is an eight week program designed for business, civic and religious leaders in our community to have a better understanding of how the FBI works and how we can help them in their efforts. Master Richards learned firsthand the procedures the FBI utilizes to keep our community and country safe. This course is run only once a year and is taught by senior field agents and is personally overseen by Special Agent in Charge, Laura Laughlin. It is limited to only 30 participants which must past a detailed background check and must be recommended by a FBI agent to participate. As a graduate of this course, Master Richards will go on to be part of the FBICA Alumni Association which helps educate the community on what the FBI does and teaches valuable classes on personal safety issues. Master Richards hopes to incorporate some of the valuable information he gained from this course in some of the ongoing child safety and awareness courses now taught at Seattle Tae Kwon Do in Mountlake Terrace. Mr. Richards looks forward to a long lasting relationship with the FBI Seattle Field Division through the FBI Citizen’s Academy Alumni Association.
